About me

I am here to educate parents about what biologically normal Infant and Toddler sleep looks like, and I encourage them to always follow their own parental intuition over the opinions and advice of others, even of experts.

As a parent you know your child best and YOU are the expert on your own child. My sleep support doesn't involve any form of sleep training whatsoever. We never work with any form of 'crying it out'. We look at the whole situation, honoring your child's temperament and natural development. We honour the attachment that exists
between you and your child while empowering you to get the sleep and care that you also need.
All of this, so that we may fully enjoy being a parent again and our children may grow up feeling free to be themselves, loved and protected.

To work with me, or for any further questions, I am happy to hear from you.

Love, Rosalie

It's so nice to meet you here. My name is Rosalie, I am originally

from the Netherlands and now live in Austria with my partner and

our daughter.

I am educated as a art historian and took care of many children as a

nanny throughout my studies. When my daughter was born, what I

experienced as a mother and what I had learned/seen in the western

world about motherhood and baby sleep, about how we are around

children, didn't line up. I started to understand the important role that

mothers have in the world and the strenght of their heart, body and

intuition. I can honestly say, I just love mothers. To be around, to speak

with, to learn from. I think mothers are truly amazing.

Becoming a mother changed me in the best possible way and I enjoy
it immensly. Being a mother, in my view, is the REAL deal. No more
philosophy, ideas and 'knowing better'. But instead, the pure
experience and responsibility of taking care of a small human being,
and a new found respect and honour of what it means to be a mother
in the world.

Part of becoming a mother and understanding the importance of the
early childhood years and how we treat our little ones, made me
become a
certified Babyled Sleep and Wellbeing Specialist.
I now help parents get more sleep without any form of sleep training.

The first years with a child can be very overwhelming, and frustration

can run high at times when we are sleep deprived. When we become
parents we often have no idea
of the many factors that can keep our

babies (and us) awake.

Friends and relatives are trying to help out by giving (out-dated)

advice that doesn't really sit right with us, and that even re-enforces

the feeling of doubt, of doing it all wrong.

We can sometimes long for someone to be with us, to listen
and acknowledge that we are doing a great job. Because we are!

Babysleep really shouldn't have to be something to be so
anxious about, to want to do RIGHT for others, or to be ashamed of.
