My approach to baby and toddler sleep
'But if you don't sleep train, won't your baby learn that they can just cry, and you will always come? Yes! that's exactly what I want to teach my baby!'
Taylor Kulik
I would like to take this space to write a bit about my approach to Infant and Toddler sleep, so that you can really understand what it is that we will be looking at and know for sure that this work is for you and your family.
Sleep is the most natural thing ever. When we were in our mother's womb, we were drifting in and out of sleep all the time. Naturally. But when it comes to infant sleep, we have moved far away from this naturalness.
What families have said...
Just Rosalie acknowledging how challenging our situation is, was really helpful and supportive.
She was very thoughtful and thorough and I felt like we were getting customized support to our exact children's needs, sleep arrangements, barriers, and future goals
First we had a really good and in depth talk about my baby's current sleep situation where I received valuable tips that instantly helped myself a lot.
Also, I loved the weekly email with copious amounts of information taylored to our situation and progress.
I liked that Rosalie listened very well and really tried to understand what we were struggling with.
Thank you for your support during this hard time!

About me
It's so nice to meet you here. My name is Rosalie, I am originally from the Netherlands. It has been years since I worked in the field, but I am originally an art historian. During my travels I have become a yoga teacher.
I enjoy going different places and meeting people from different
cultures and backgrounds. I have a love for Asian countries,
where I especially enjoy the natural way the 'village' cares for their children. Those days, I didn't see 1 stroller in Nepal or a high chair in rural Thailand. I have though seen fathers lifting their one year old standing high up on one hand and talking to their friends with a baby casually in their arms. Children in the neighbourhood were choosing in which house and bed they wanted to sleep that night.
Natural.
My travels brought me further to the beautiful city of Edinburgh
in Scotland, where I lived and worked for a couple of years. When I met my husband we moved to the Austrian
mountains, where we still live now. In 2020 we had our beautiful daughter.
Becoming a mother changed me in the best possible way and I enjoy it immensly. Being a mother, in my view, is the REAL deal. No more philosophy, ideas and 'knowing better'. But instead, the pure experience and responsibility of taking care of a small human being, and a new found respect and honour of what it means to be a mother in the world.
